The RRWA is happy to announce the awarding of several new grants that will enable us to continue and expand our mission.

Most recently, we recieved a grant from the Watershed Institute that will enable us to continue our water quality program with the addition of macroinvertebrate monitoring. Get involved by joining our Stream Team! Get trained and adopt a spot on the river to perform regular stream-side assessments. We will be holding a 2-day workshop covering visual assessments and macroinvertebrates on May 2nd and 3rd. More details and information on how to register will be forthcoming. Call Clea at 908-472-6152 to find out more.

Thanks to a Heart grant from Union County, we are presently working on our Nature Photography Event Series. We held a Photography Workshop and Field Sesison, both in September, and then a Nature Photography Contest. We are curently accepting input from the public to determine our People's Choice category winner. More info can be found at the top left of this page.
